Attribute types

An attribute describes a specific characteristic of a product. Practically attributes may be of various kind - internal technical attribute (hard drive size of a PC), external attribute (dimensions and weight), add-on accessories (bag), warranty period and so on.

Summer Cart provides you with 9 attribute types categorized in two groups - Custom values and System:

- Custom values:

  1. Text - 
  2. Multi-Language Text
  3. Drop-Down List
  4. Radio Buttons
  5. Multiple Select
  6. Checkbox
- System:
  1. Price
  2. Manufacturer
  3. Category

'Product Attributes' page shows all attributes within your Summer Cart store.

Use 'Product Attributes' page to manage all of your attributes fast and easily. 'Product Attributes' page offers attributes listing, intuitive search options and robust functionality to add, edit or delete attributes.

Create/Edit Product Attribute

  1. Go to the Store menu, under 'Products' click on Products link. 'Attributes' appear.
  2. Click on New Product Attribute button on top of page. 'Create Product Attribute' appears.

There are a couple of options that need to be completed before you will be able to use the attribute.

Name - enter name of the attribute (eg. Price, Screen size, RAM, HDD)

Code - provide code of the product attribute ?! къде се ползва
Units - The measurement units of the attribute will be displayed with its value.

Product Attribute Types

  1. Text - you can enter whatever text you want. Options available for this attribute type:
    Validator - choose between four validator options - Number, das, dasd, dasd. Choose "No validator" to disable the validation for this filed.

  2. Multi-Language Text

- System:
  1. Price
  2. Manufacturer
  3. Category

Validato, attribute intervals and etc. in each attr type

Is Filterable - If this attribute should be included in the navigation filters. like above for each attr type

- show number of products which ?

Is Searchable - If this attribute should be included in the advanced search.

Apply to all products - If this attribute should apply to all products in the store regardless of their product class.     

Show in - choose where attribute will show in product details page -
