FRAuthorize.net Credit Card Payments (integration method SIM)
>> Open Summer Cart Admin Panel
>> Go to the Settings menu, under 'Modules' click on Payment link
>> Select 'Authorize.net / SIM'
Summer Cart shopping cart has 2 embedded modules for credit card payments through Authorize.Net which guarantee secure online transactions. Summer cart supports the SIM and AIM integration methods for Authorize.Net through separate modules.
The SIM module has 5 setup options that need to be completed before its activation:
API Login ID |
Summer Cart store owner is required to enter his or her API Login ID provided by Authorize.Net. API Login ID can be obtained from Authorize.Net Merchant Interface, in the 'Security' section under 'Settings' menu. |
Transaction Key |
Summer Cart store owner is required to enter the transaction key provided with his/her Authorize.net merchant account. The transaction key is generated by the Authorize.Net system and can be obtained from their Merchant Interface, in the 'Security' section under 'Settings' menu. |
MD5 Hash |
The MD5 Hash Value is a unique string that a merchant sets up in the Authorize.Net Merchant Interface. The MD5 Hash Value can be found in the 'Security' section under 'Settings' menu in Authorize.Net Merchant Interface. |
Time Zone Offset |
By the rules of Authorize.Net each order has a specific validity period. A merchant is required to define in hours the difference between his server's time zone and the time zone of Authorize.Net servers so that the validity period can be calculated correctly. Remember that Time Zone Offset can have one of the following values, in hours: -12, -11, -10, -9, -8, -7, -6, -5, -4, -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 |
Mode |
Demo mode is only used in the initial setup phase to make online purchases without processing real card data. Remember that for secure real-time transactions at a live store the demo mode MUST BE TURNED OFF. |
